About Lightship

The Lightship team is made up of seasoned technical practitioners with deep industry experience covering the full breadth of technical needs including software engineering, database development, AI integrations, and technology leadership.

Technology is changing fast. Knowing what to do with it (and what not to do) can feel daunting. At Lightship that combined experience comes together in a simple mission: help organizations navigate technological change with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Why “Lightship”?

A lightship is a vessel that serves as a beacon in places where a traditional lighthouse can't. We liked the metaphor.

Technology can sometimes feel like open water: new systems, emerging technologies, disconnected data, AI, competing priorities, and more questions than answers. Lightship is there to help you find your bearings.

We don't believe in technology for technology's sake. We believe technology should make organizations, and the people within them, more capable, more connected, and more effective.

Human-First by Design

At a time when everyone seems to be racing to become “AI-first,” Lightship takes a different approach. Human-first doesn't mean technology-last. It means people come first. Technology should make people more capable, eliminate unnecessary friction, create meaningful efficiencies, and deliver greater value. AI can be an extraordinarily powerful tool, but it is still one tool within a broader digital strategy. Our job isn't to sell you the newest technology. It's to understand where you are, where you're trying to go, and help you choose the right way forward.
